Services

At Dragonfly, we provide a tailored support package for young people in our placements. Our placement managers and key workers collaborate with each young person to create a bespoke support plan, aligned with the pathway plan from the placing Local Authority.
Key worker sessions occur at least weekly, with six-weekly reviews to ensure appropriate care, guidance, and progress monitoring. Support levels are adjusted as needed, in consultation with the placing authority, to meet individual needs. This includes additional 1:1 assistance for young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

Young people will be supported in the following areas:

hygiene and personal
care routines

food and grocery shopping

maintaining a clean, safe, and organised living environment

budgeting and money management

food preparation, cooking, and promoting healthy eating habits

participation in leisure, health, and recreational activities



building self-motivation, self-esteem, confidence, and fostering a positive self-image
identifying and promoting the use of local facilities, and encouraging community engagement and participation
advocacy and assistance with appointments, including transportation when necessary

role modelling, coaching, and mentoring in healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and positive risk-taking

planning and maintaining daily structure and routines

promoting mental health wellness and supporting emotional well-being
